I use a fuel truck ,,same truck the party boats use..

I was also told by fire dept & DEC you must have boom on your boat to absorb any spills when you fuel at a fuel dock...
Fairly certain some towns prohibit it.you can do it with the boat on land..not in the water...cans dont have a safety shut off for spills ..thats why you cant fill with cans on the water...

cant say about B&T
Both. But it would take a jealous neighbor calling Code Enforcement. Pretty sure I read somewhere last year or the year before that we were prohibited from using gas cans to refuel a boat in our driveway in this town. Regardless, I ignore stupid laws where no one is harmed and the chance of getting caught is slim lol. Going to shoot my air rifle in my tiny back yard later. That too is against the law. What are you referring to, fueling on land or water or both?
Unless they distinguish fueling a boat on land from fueling a lawn mower, power washer, lawn tractor, etc., I'm highly skeptical of a law prohibiting fueling a boat on land.
Regardless, HTH would they enforce it??
