Cant get mine above 61% got plenty of beads/crystals all flooded in cigar juice they arent loosing their soaked up juice but I cant get the humidity up without the added paper towel soaked in distilled water and that doesent even last I know Winter is not a good time to store cigars but this is the worst I ever had

There is zero humidity in the air - ran my dehumidifier here in the basement for 24 hours and not a drop of water came out.

True I dont get why my humidor isnt keeping the humidity in

I have been having the same problem this winter.Thought it was just me.I have slightly more cigars then normal as once heavy winter rolls in my use goes down to nothing.Through 2 new humicare black ice large pie Humidifiers in there to replace the old.Have not opened the humidifier for 6 days and when I just checked it's still at around 61%.

Thought my hygrometers may not be right.Have no calibration kits so I switched the ones from my office to my home humidor and they went to exactly where they were previously in each humidor.I brought in a third Hygrometer I had lying around and it confirmed the same readings on each humidor.I am doing slightly better at my humidor in my office at 62%-63%.Not really sure what else to do.I removed the crystals and put Boveda 72% packs in the one humidor and stayed the same.Have had these boxes for years and seasoned them up properly before using them.The cigars do not feel dry but I'm starting to get concerned as I have quite a few nice sticks inside.

I have a bunch of older sticks which are really not my favorites in a rubbermaid brilliance airtight container.I don't even have a hygrometer in that one.Going to toss a hygrometer in there and see if its any different then the humidor that its sitting next to.

I was going to cut one to a smaller size and soak it in distilled water.Thank you!
