Looks like we are back in the woods.
I don't buy that "they played good enough to win" BS from Sam and Joe and company. They were outplayed again, with zero fight for the puck.
They are back to playing the outside game, and way too much passing, which isn't crisp and usually leads to turnovers. I just don't understand passing the puck even trying to skate though the neutral zone with no pressure on them, into an area that has 1-2 defenders, just to pass the puck up? At least 5 times last night they had a chance to skate the puck into the O zone or out of the D zone and they pass it to a head man who is covered.
20 and 93 are playing better, but that snake is still biting them. We got a few days before Boston...they better come out refreshed and ready.

Rangers land Miller in blockbuster with Canucks
J.T. Miller is headed back to the Rangers in a blockbuster deal with the Canucks, who will receive Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a 2025 first-rounder in return.
Sure as hell not seeing much going on while they're skating, or making believe that are doing that...

Time for the “ core” to be changed they have their window and never broke through it.
Kreider ( thanks for the years but he’s washed)
Mika to be fair has improved alittle since we got JT back but if they can move him for anything I’d do it. The cap hit is brutal though
k Andre Miller one of the most frustrating parts is he has potential but often does his stick checking instead of taking the body. He should be moved as he has value.
In the right deal I’d move Panarin even Fox who is a shell of himself defensively.
I would take guys like Scheinder and Borgen as my D men anyday. Not flashy but take the body play heavy and move the puck.
If possible they should move heaven and earth to get Brady Tkachuk. The guy is a human wrecking ball with offensive skill around the net.

They have no guts. Kreider been a mainstay for years and had a few real good ones, but he’s back to what he was, not even. Your top guys are supposed to show up every nite.
I don’t blame everything on the coach but he’s gotta go.

Move Kreider, move Mika even if I have to retain half his salary, Kandre Miller is soft as they come most nites too. Fox is soft too.
give me defenseman who play defense and don’t let guys just walk around the net to the front with no repercussions.
I’d take a team of Will Cuylles any day over this bunch.
Laffy and Panarin too , if u got offered something good take it. We need a total overhaul.

I was at last nights dumpster fire. I can not remember seeing a worse played hockey game by the NYR.
I was actually there because a coworkers son is on the Flames, so we were there to see #27 play at MSG, and the kid scored the GWG, and that became the highlight for us, but boy watching my Rangers give zero effort sealed the deal on this season for me.

A coach who doesn’t address his team after games is ridiculous.
Drury and Lav need to go.
Drury had his shot to get them where they needed to be last few years.
Could have have guentzel for kakko and a 1st.
Does that make them beat Florida? Probably not but who knows all the games were close. And they were up 2-1.
