I believe I saw your boat come past us, just past the Bug Light, while heading back . . . An Albin 28 isn't known for its speed, but it sure was a comforting ride whilst slugging it out in an awfully miserable Race. I really love that boat.

Gorgeous fish Al!
The North Fork fishing has been truly exceptional this season - especially when viewed against the past couple of Falls. A huge improvement.
What blank do you favor when the tide really pulls out there? I like the CTS BS704, myself.
Where was that?!?! I’m getting the itch to go togging. Anyone headed up to Rhode Island soon? I’d love to get on a 6 pack.Suicidal bite today, boat limits by 11am. I jigged with my spinner but then switched to my new Daiwa Catalina (thanks again Lep). Great day for its maiden voyage, that 4.9 gearing is sweetView attachment 13233
Looking good my friend! You too have a great Thanksgiving!Capt. Mike finished up his "Captain's Table" East End 2019 campaign with an excellent last trip to Tog Heaven with more than a 3-man limit of fatties - we kept throwing back "the last keeper," hoping for a sea monster - which never did show itself, unfortunately. Still, I was able to take a 5 and a 6lb fish on the jig - which was a special treat, fishing right in a New Moon tide. From here forward we shift our tog-busting efforts to MY boat for the balance of the season, fishing to the Southwest.
Ouuufaaa! Now the pressure's on ME!
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Yesterday's turkeys:
