Joe - great video - but - I have to ask. Just how old were you in the '50's & '60's for you to be able to remember this as a way of growing up? I'm thinkin' not very. Believe I'm older then you (67) & I was only 8 years old by the end of the '50's (born 1952). I remember nothing from the '50's other then bits n' pieces.

Born in the 52 !!!!! Your scaring me Larry. I started Commercial fishing on Georges in 1952.

Got to shake hands w/LBJ there. We were having lunch at that fancy restaurant by the heliport and just as we were leaving the Secret Service put the building on lockdown since the President, who was visiting the fair, was about to leave. An agent said that when we saw LBJ, we should cheer and he'd probably come around and shake hands. After waiting an hour he showed up so we cheered, and polished politician that he was, he came around to press the flesh.

Troop 31 in bensonhurst .Been to camp pouch also the winter camping in the leanto's at Alpine, and TMR {too many rocks} ten mile river for 2 weeks 3 summers in a row. what times
