I buried Max's ashes in one of those...................

Along with

• his pedigree documents
• his collar & dog tags
• a picture

true story........................

I had had family members over for dinner to celebrate the ex's birthday which fell on Holloween (yeah I know the jokes with that) - had the radio on to the local station (WLIR I think) & the DJ put on "All I Want for Christmas is You".

This enraged my third in line sibling who promptly went to the house phone hanging on the wall in the kitchen (only one we had in house - it was back in those days) & called the radio station.

The DJ (whose name escapes me) answered the call & proceeded to ask my brother what he wanted to hear.

My brother's reply?

"Anything but fucking Christmas! It's Halloween. What is wrong with you!"

This all came over the radio I had on.
Needless to say two things happened.

1. the DJ stopped taking calls
2. the Christmas song playlist stopped

one of my funniest memories................
