Capt Dave reports a tough day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. Most of the morning was very difficult to fish with the poor weather conditions rocking the boat making for little to no bite. We had a few fish mixed in but didn’t get on them till the last hour to an hour and a half. Our last little shot was most Porgies and SeaBass on the larger size with one Cod on the boat. The pool winner went to Richard Michelin from Sayville with a 4.5 lb SeaBass, he is a recent graduate of the Coast Guard Boot Camp! Unfortunately, we are cancelled for both trips tomorrow leaving at 5am due to severe weather.
