Surf reports

In the last 30 days there have been a total of five posted surf reports and one of those was from a river. the other four are mine. While I admit that I probably skipped submitting a report a time or three, am I the only one on nyangler.com that surfcasts ? One report I skipped making was the other day, when the sea lettuce was annoying (Wednesday) and the W to E sweep started just before the sun started going down. In two hours I caught one little schoolie. But where are other reports ?

South West NY incoming before high tide. 6 pound mono.
The schoolie hit like a ton of bricks.

And the “not allowed to talk about “ week that just passed, the phone has been ringing off the hook regarding planning opportunities.

HI.. Your are completely right. Lack of surf reports are frustrating. I am also guilty. Was out a couple of times and did not post a report. I plan on hitting the beach tomorrow and my report will surely follow. Thanks for waking us up

Just put a general location. My usual beach is never a "hot" spot but I go there for peace of mind and not to be 20 feet apart with people crossing lines, keeping shorts, etc. I like to get an idea if weeds or a strong sweep are an issue. Wind direction and strength are easily researched. A couple of webcams on the surf have been helpful as well. Tight lines !

Went to RM for about two hours. Tossed bucktails and diamond jigs for nothing. Some wind out of the NNW. I did see two people down the beach from me bring in fish, not sure if they were schoolies or dog fish. Birds working, but just too far out and lots of boats.
