WOW your great customer bring your own iol for an oil change do you bring your own EGGS too the diner? BTW shops hate when you do stuff like that

A couple of years ago monro muffler didn't remove the old gasket on my oil filter. 3miles from home and my low oil light comes on...look under car and a puddle of oil...had it towed to monro..they verified what I KNEW...they changes it again and I drove it but it had a ticking noise....result...brought it to my dealer they gave me a NEW engine and MONROS insurance company paid the 6 grand bill

but still if I am driving 6-7 thousand miles between changes based on synthetic and they didn't use that , I am doing potential harm to the engine....speaking about any place

I bring my own oil and my preferred filter to the shop as well, Mojoe ....... I'm picky as to what's being put into my truck.

Then you guys should learn how to change your own oil as well too bring your own eggs too the diner Its a business thing neither makes money

Wish I could ...... I always did my own oil changes. My knees are shot, joints ache, and crawling under the truck multiple times is painful. I'd be ok if there was a surcharge. I watch the guy do it and trust me, they are making money for what I'm charged and the time it takes.

Unless they make 1/2 labor time they charge thet dont make chit people who bring thrir own stuff or oil changes is a waste of time for the shop Trust me its the business I have been in all my lie

Ugghhh, Poseidon and Aeolus continue their conspiracy to keep me beached. We had a horrendous storm with snow and wind Thrus/Friday with 250,000 folks out of power and now they're calling for another rain/wind storm tomorrow with gusts that might go over 50 mph along the coast. Power not a problem for me thanks to "Genny", but the wind has been a thorn in my butt all spring, along with the yo-yoing temps. Even if I launch this week, the boat would probably be sitting at the dock most days.

Oh well, I'll hit the boat hard today and try to finish up waxing and cleaning. I was going to get the kayaks cleaned and on the dock, but not with the wind forecast, they'll be better off in the shed for a few more days.
