MTB i bought my own synthetic oil and filter from auto zone and brought it to my friends shop,,,,,,,,, you would known if the wrong oil was put in when you on the ex way and your motor drops outis there anyway to tell what oil they used...if you ask for synthetic and they put in regular how would anyone know?

Unless they make 1/2 labor time they charge thet dont make chit people who bring thrir own stuff or oil changes is a waste of time for the shop Trust me its the business I have been in all my lieWish I could ...... I always did my own oil changes. My knees are shot, joints ache, and crawling under the truck multiple times is painful. I'd be ok if there was a surcharge. I watch the guy do it and trust me, they are making money for what I'm charged and the time it takes.
