You gotta throw on your bibs brother. This time of year I don’t leave the dock without them.Drying out. That damn "one more drift" mentality landed me in a torrential downpour this AM. The fishing was fine, I could toss and retrieve from under my cockpit canopy, but when it came to tying up, I was SOOL. Of course Poseidon totally opened up the spigot just as I got to the dock.
Head/torso dry, just the thighs on my jeans where the rain from the foul weather gear descended. Regardless, a wet morning's fishing is far better than a dry morning surfing the net...
True enough, but it would take me more time get them on than it did to get to the fish. I was fishing 400 yds from my dock and started fishing in a light drizzle, certainly no where near "time for the bibs".You gotta throw on your bibs brother. This time of year I don’t leave the dock without them.
