Gunna pick up a few steaks and some shrimp today so I can be prepared to remain home tomorrow, don’t want to venture out for anything on Sunday.

Gabby Pettito funeral nearby and the town will be flooded with her Family, friends, supporters and media. Her family has welcomed all to come.

Drying out. That damn "one more drift" mentality landed me in a torrential downpour this AM. The fishing was fine, I could toss and retrieve from under my cockpit canopy, but when it came to tying up, I was SOOL. Of course Poseidon totally opened up the spigot just as I got to the dock.

Head/torso dry, just the thighs on my jeans where the rain from the foul weather gear descended. Regardless, a wet morning's fishing is far better than a dry morning surfing the net...

You gotta throw on your bibs brother. This time of year I don’t leave the dock without them.

True enough, but it would take me more time get them on than it did to get to the fish. I was fishing 400 yds from my dock and started fishing in a light drizzle, certainly no where near "time for the bibs".

If the fishing warranted it, and I couldn't have managed fishing under the canopy, I would have broken them out. I just did the old risk/benefit analysis and decided trying to wrestle my bibs on to keep my jean thighs from getting a bit wet, something that could rectified by 10 min in the dryer, was definitely on the risk side...
