we were talking bout maple syrups in the shop sometime back, one fellow said , this stuff ain’t nutin, molasses & cane syrup way better, lol… cellfish…

Big difference in the different grades, you should take a trip to New England or upstate sometime in the spring in mid-late March when they're boiling sap and ask to try the different ones; you'll be surprised!!

ive been visiting my dentist friend place in Wilmington VT for 35 years… maple ? syrup of any grade taste the same to me on anything, ice cream, French toast, pancakes, ,,, my preference… cellfish…
 
my friend John has 120 acres, half of which is leased to a local dairy farmer, who also has sap/tap lines running on the property... the farmer sells his goods on honor system off the main house... cellfish...

A true gourmand, you're not, if you can't taste the differences. You should try sipping them, not drowning pancakes in them, although I sure can taste the differences on pancakes, French toast and waffles...
