I just hung up some yellow jacket traps
I have what appears to be a nest where my cedar shake siding meets the soffit/fascia in one corner on the gable end. There's a slight gap where they have been coming in and out for some time
I've been spraying the piss out of them for 2 weeks with wasp/hornet spray which usually works like a charm. 5 cans in and they are laughing at me
I think these can sprays have bene watered down over the years. When i was painting full time I always kept a few cans with me in the van and it worked great after a few squirts. now... PFFFTTTTTTTTTTTT

Had a similar one back in IL. Think I went through 5 or 6 cans to exorcise them...

Reminded me of a guy named Eric, ran a boat out of Lindenhurst and participated on NE. Fished with him a few times. Met him through an acquaintance, unrelated to fishing.

It was after I moved down here. I remember having to drive from my brother's house in Nissequogue where I was staying to get there. So first or second year I was down here would put it 2013/2014(?).

That's Margrock in those pictures & I recognize most but can't put a name to the faces.

I've been hanging out with youze guys on here for a long time. Since 8/2000...............
