Couple of 2 wheel accidents for me in the early 70's when I was young, dumb, & full of adult beverages, one week in the hospital the last time & never got back on.

I just got back from AutoZone my daughter told me this morning one of her headlights was out so I went to go pull the bulb to see which one it was and it come to find out I have to remove the front bumper to access the headlamp so I bought the lightbulbs and a pair of pliers to remove the clips for the bumper and do that tomorrow morning I watched A YouTube video and the guy in the video said the mechanics charged $150 to put new light bulbs in one side not this guy that’s for sure

I think the car companies are starting to take lessons from boat and outboard manufacturers...

Some Other Classics The Failed Designed for Servicing:

• My old Volvo necessitated pulling the A/C coil off it's mount to replace the right side front headlight. It was only $50 at the shop so I didn't feel too bad.
  
  
• Many early 2000 Audi's need the entire front of the car removed to put in a new timing belt, making it a $3,000 repair

That, and the fact that for anything bigger than a lawnmower these days, you need a computer with special software to figure out what's wrong with an engine, the "I fixed it myself" moment is harder and harder to accomplish!!
