The stock market

Actually I usually post in the morning regarding the prior day. The morning post would not have had any of today's happenings. I was actually just looking at personal accounts to see what the day's activity had done.

Here you go................

Surprised it took so long, 4 hours, but I guess that's how long it took to read all the charges. I never warmed to crypto currency...

Sam Bankman-Fried Is Found Guilty of 7 Counts of Fraud and Conspiracy

The case against the founder of the failed FTX exchange had come to symbolize the excesses of the volatile cryptocurrency industry.

Sam Bankman-Fried, the tousle-haired mogul who founded the FTX cryptocurrency exchange, was convicted on Thursday of seven charges of fraud and conspiracy after a monthlong trial that laid bare the rampant hubris and risk-taking across the crypto industry.

Mr. Bankman-Fried became a symbol of crypto’s excesses last year when FTX collapsed and he was charged with stealing as much as $10 billion from customers to finance political contributions, venture capital investments and other extravagant spending. A jury of nine women and three men took just over four hours of deliberation on Thursday to reach a verdict, convicting Mr. Bankman-Fried of wire fraud, conspiracy and money laundering.

Together the counts carry a maximum sentence of 110 years. Mr. Bankman-Fried, 31, is expected to appeal. He’s scheduled to be sentenced on March 28.

Before the verdict was announced, Mr. Bankman-Fried, wearing a gray suit and purple tie, stood to face the jury, with his hands clasped in front of him. He showed little visible emotion as a juror repeated the word “guilty” seven times. He then took his seat, with his head angled down.

Well, not everyday but I just enjoy looking at your input and I am in no way qualified to have a real discussion about the stock market as I don't really understand much of it....
Honestly, I only monitor it to keep an eye on my 401K 8-)
So how did it look at the end of the week?

Any moves? Changes? Reallocation?

Hopefully you are pleased. I missed out on a presentation today, but they were discussing 7+ % in the municipal market. Interesting.

Not for qualified money, but could fit nicely in a non qualified portfolio.

“The drop in Treasury yields was more related to the lower than expected coupon issuance guidance and weaker economic data as opposed to the bullish interpretation (for equities) that the Fed is going to cut rates earlier next year,” said Wilson, who was named as the best portfolio strategist by the latest Institutional Investor survey.

Analysts expected Berkshire to report operating earnings of $6,540.23 per Class A share, but instead the company achieved $7,437.15 per Class A share.

Geico cited higher premiums as a result of increased car prices, and a decrease in both collision claims and its advertising budget as factors driving its change in fortunes, which have helped boost Berkshire in turn.

The other insurance holdings under Berkshire also benefited from a "quiet" Atlantic hurricane season, which meant fewer losses to handle, according to The New York Times.
