2nd attempt at steam cleaning a few rugs.....................

Joe - 1st time doing this. How long does it take for the rug to dry?

Maybe 10 X 10

I'm cranking the wood stove is cranking - have the windows open stove took the room to 81 right now & still climbing.
Give me an idea?

wader how did you clean it,, extacting machine?,,, my carpet machine extracts most water, it stills takes most of the day to dry,, sometimes over nite,,, chevy said it pull the rug close to the fire,, also if you have a fan put the fan on to circulate the air that will help alot to dry it,,,,,,,,hope you didnt soak the rug,,,,,if you did mite take longer to dry hope this helps ><))):>

Guess it's an extractor - water goes into a tank - moves through the machine & then into a bladder for dumping. Did a nice job. Lots of mucky water to dump & pulled up lots of Max's hair even though I vacuumed the rug before I started.

about 85% of the rug is now dry (part nearest the stove) - rest is still a bit damp
