Hey Rick. I haven’t riden a solid rim. Heard about that issue, some conflicting thoughts on the reviews I have read. I guess it depends on wind speed, direction etc. just have to respect the bike and environment I guessIt’s a nice bike. The rims, have you driven a solid rim bike? Noticeable difference with cross wind. Takes a little getting used to. Just so your aware.
If you buy it go over the Robert Moses bridges a few times. Calm days and windy days and you will feel what it’s like and be prepared for it in the future.Hey Rick. I haven’t riden a solid rim. Even going over the RM at the top in my Jeep today is something...lots of wind up there.
Back in the day 20 years ago...I had Yamaha R1 crotch rocket...different bike of-course and was able to get down low on the tank under the windscreen. Went over RM bridge often, Jones Beach etc... Felt the wind there too wanting to push me around. I definatley respect it

Someday I would love to do it......... what a ride it would beI thought the whole post went poof. Didn't show for me after I posted it.
At Sturgis she is. Guess seeing everyone covered she wanted one. Can’t believe how many from Fla made the trip on two wheels and not trailered I’m seeing in private group pics. Seen a dozen put in a trailer in Islandia last week for Sturgis. They fly and meet their bikes “Hipsters” SMH.
It’s doable if you can take three weeks to a month off.
