Were all doomed
The first Nor’easter of the season arrives early next week
Rain & wind will arrive on Long Island starting late Sunday afternoon & become widespread Sunday night into early Monday.
I’m expecting it to be a raw and nasty Sunday afternoon & for power outages & some flooding risk Sunday night into Monday Morning.
 What we know:
A large coastal storm will develop
It’ll be close enough to bring at least some rain
Some high tide flooding and beach erosion is expected.
 What we don’t know:
2”+ rain? This is possible but not guaranteed yet. Even though we are in a drought, this would cause flooding.
Wind gusts over 50 mph? It’s possible if the storm gets close enough especially for the south shore and east end.
