BTW, my neighbor who worked on the LEM at Grumman had a model of it and he showed me how that camera was deployed after landing.

Obviously not an old fashioned manual SLR user, it’s all about shutter speed. Because there’s no atmosphere on the moon sunlight is very bright. Remember the gold plated visors on the spacesuits? So they had to use very fast shutter speeds for the photos, too fast to collect enough starlight to be seen.

Most moon landing deniers are kooks. But it's a terrible reflection on our government that people have become so distrustful of it that they question mankind's greatest technological accomplishment.

According to Land and Transport Ministry officials, there were no aircraft nearby and no injuries were reported when the bomb exploded at Miyazaki Airport in Southwestern Japan

Investigators determined that the explosion came from a WWII-era 500-pound bomb, though it’s not clear what caused the sudden detonation.

Miyazaki Airport was built in 1943 as a former Imperial Japanese Navy flight training field from which some kamikaze pilots took off on suicide attack missions.

What is a union boss? You literally have to be a worker in a union to run for president or any other board member position. Who the heck calls them a boss? The only non-member position is the lawyers which most local members reap including mine. I have a lawyer for every occasion I pay for out of dues at my beckon call. That’s the only non-members I’ve ever seen. Those dock builders get killed often enough to warrant their pay. The average guy is probably making around $150-200K with OT (Which is half after taxes and chicken scratch in the city area) Union funds and pensions probably keep the FBI in business they are watched that closely the past 20 years. If that guy was corrupt he’d be hanging with the Clintons and P Diddy by now at Epstein Island. Just my two cents. I knew many corrupt over the years. It goes to their heads for some and others it’s forced on and they just got along not knowing how to get out.
