Whats going on in the World

Why does this keep happening?

Last year, the media trumpeted the FBI’s claim that reported violent crime had fallen in 2022 by 2.1%.

But now the FBI admits that violent crime rose in 2022 instead, by 4.5% — off by 6.6 percentage points.

These updated numbers resulted in a net increase in 2022 over 2021 of 80,029 violent crimes: 1,699 murders, 7,780 rapes, 33,459 robberies and 37,091 aggravated assaults.

The entire administration is one massive lie! Fake news could only hold it down so long.

Missouri state Attorney General Andrew Bailey celebrated Schelp's decision on X, calling it a "huge win for transparency, the rule of law, and for every American who won't have to foot the bill for someone else's Ivy League debt."

"My team is 9-0 with [President Biden] and [Vice President Kamala Harris] in court on this issue," Bailey wrote. "At what point does this become a constitutional crisis?"

There will never again be a fair election. It started with Quale/Bush with the hanging chad nonsense (maybe earlier but I'm not a historian)to today.

And now the precedent has been set for a party to basically annoint a candidate, circumventing the Democratic process.

I'm stating the obvious but it's a sad state were in as a country.

Started with the 2020 "selection. And now, the current democrat candidate Harris received zero votes for the position after 14 million votes came in for Biden. Enough said.

Banana republic.

As East and Gulf Coast ports begin to operate as normal again, one of the country’s top entrepreneurs is weighing in on "the trouble" with union workers’ demands.

"The trouble with East Coast ports is they're very old, they're very inefficient," O’Leary Ventures Chairman and "Shark Tank" star Kevin O’Leary said Friday on "Varney & Co."

"And when you start to compare them against other international ports like Singapore and the other Asian ports," he continued, "we're just not holding much up against them. And that’s very bad for productivity."

"There's been lots of studies on automation in ports domestically and internationally," O’Leary said. "We just got to let automation go where it goes because there is zero evidence on the East and West Coast that if you automate and make it more efficient, more productive, then it hurts wages at all."

"Indeed, it may even increase the actual pay you give to employees that know how to use these robotic systems so they become more engineer-oriented," "Mr. Wonderful" added. "It helps job creation and helps the value of wage growth."

Mayorkas this week warned that FEMA was running out of funds as hurricane season continued to slam the southeastern United States. The organization has enough funds to deal with the aftermath of Helene but would not have enough to "make it through the season."

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told Fox News host Sean Hannity that no FEMA rep had visited parts of South Carolina but had received assurances they would after he raised the issue with them.

"You know where I’m going to look to get money to help with this disaster?" Graham said. "There’s a couple hundred billion dollars in the Inflation Reduction Act … that hasn’t been spent."

New York congressional candidate Laura Gillen, a town supervisor in the Long Island town of Hempstead, drew a $40,000 "fellow" salary with the group Our American Future Foundation (OAFF) in 2023, according to her financial disclosures. The group and a sister nonprofit, Our American Future Action, help pay expenses for individuals—overwhelmingly Democrats—who plan to run for office in the future.

"It is incredibly problematic that George Soros is paying candidates to run for office through a program disguised as a ‘fellowship,’" said Caitlin Sutherland, executive director of the nonprofit watchdog group Americans for Public Trust, in a statement to Fox News Digital.
