Had a burger with the wife at Howard’s Cafe in Patchogue. Now down at The Idiot in Patchogue with wife, daughter and her friends. And dropping them at LaGuardia at 530 tomorrow morning. Let the fun begin! Lol.

Whenever we hit Patchogue we always gravitate towards the west end
Probably cuz of my son and the music scene at Bobbique, the now former Brick House, The Tap Room, and Blue Point

So dinner did not suffice. Salted pollack filets made into fish cakes. "'Fresh parsley" seems to be the thing, but I did not have, so I submit "fresh" carrot for the plate.

Seriously? I'm guessing by the cutlery on the table you weren't dining with experienced Asian foodies...

Was your disappointment in the ones you tried, or the whole "small plate" experience? Do you like Tapas? Both of those dining experiences are two of my favorites. Nothing like sitting in an outdoor café in Madrid's Plaza Del Sol, sipping Sangria, with a table full of different tapas.

Believe it or not, thanks to 19th Century Railroad Construction, the absolute BEST Dim Sum I've ever had west of NY's China Town was in Kansas City, MO!!
