Damned if I know WTF I'm going to do with all the blueberries this year. My primary bush is just loaded, here's today's harvest after 2 days. There's still a ton left on the plant to go. Figure I've got another week of picking like this.

I'm so attentive to this bush, yeah right. I toss 4 large handfuls of organic fertilizer under it in April and then I pick blueberries in August. No spraying for bugs, no netting to keep the birds and deer off, for some reason they don't bother this bush. The deer did find some of my other, minor far less productive bushes far away from this one. The total that all these bushes will produce this year is less than 1/4 of this haul so if this is "protection money", I'm cool with it...

I adore blueberries and have come damn close to that very problem because of them. Needless to say the color "in the bowl" around here during blueberry season goes from brown to blue...
