I heard it and felt it. Kinda like Farmingdale on Fridays and Sundays in the summer when the rich folk would be taking the choppers out to the Hampton's (we were on a flight path). I won't miss that noise for sure.
 
I'm nearly out. Tried to get some more from my normal guy - he's sold out. Said this is the first time that's happened. Really cold winter down here this year.

Haven't been able to find anyone else holding except for green wood (which I placed orders for for next season).

Went through 2.5 cords, So I'm conserving.

That's why I take whatever I can get whenever I can so I'm always working on "next years" supply at any given time...

Damn
Cleaned out the ashes in the stove before dinner
Had enough embers left to get it fired back up.
Didn't pay enuf attention to it the rest of the evening and when I loaded it up before bed time it was down to burning ashes
Woke up this morning to find out I smothered it and it burnt out and its down to 60 in the house ?‍♂️
Got it kicked back up to get it cranking for the nasty day today8-)
