How do those products get to the store? what do pizza ovens run on to cook? It's all connected

Personally I say ALL politicians are to blame.
They are more concerned with power and making the other guys look bad than doing what's right
Why would anybody cooperate to fix things when they are more concerned about making the other side look bad to re-take power??

Couple days ago the Speedway in Riverhead in the same morning went from $4.79 to $5.09, today they dialed it back to $4.99. Think they were price gouging? I went to the Costco & paid $4.64..........John

I was told by a friend of mine who was in the gas station business that they make more money when the price is low. When the price is high as it is, they try to stay ahead of the next delivery price or they can take a bath. I say BS but thats me. I think all of these people from restaurants to gas stations are trying to recoup lost money from covid.

I dont see any decrease in traffic anywhere I go so I guess its not really affecting drivers yet.

Judging by the baby formula fiasco (among a long list of other things) and the fact that we, the United States of America have to go begging around the world, I dont expect anything good to happen until 2024.

Margins are better inside the store, where people aren't blowing most of their income at the pump.

LONDON (AP) — The average cost of filling up a typical family car has exceeded 100 pounds ($125) for the first time in Britain, as Russia's war in Ukraine drives gasoline prices higher.

Figures from data firm Experian Catalist showed that the average price of a liter of gas at U.K. pumps hit a record 182.3 pence on Wednesday. That takes the average cost of filling a 55-liter (12-gallon) family car to 100.27 pounds.

The AA, a British motoring association, said the price hikes have been a “huge shock” to drivers.

“While fuel prices have been setting new records on a daily basis, households up and down the country may never have expected to see the cost of filling an average-sized family car reach three figures," said Simon Williams, a spokesman for roadside assistance company RAC.
