good stuff on netflix

The Age of Adaline

This sounds like a dumb movie & potential "chick flick" but I found highly entertaining all the way through,

Interesting story line & premise. What if you never aged but everyone else did?

Some great acting by Blake Lively (whom I've never seen in anything before this) & Harrison Ford.
give it a looksee............

I might give that a try. She was in a movie playing a surfer. Costar was a maneating shark. It might have been called The Shallows (?) Ryan Reynolds is a lucky guy.

The Grey Man

Mindless, Sometimes mindless can be a good thing. Enjoyed it. Fast paced. Over the top. Didn't really get interesting until the 2nd half, Give it 3 out 5 stars.

CIA seemingly at war with itself & a psychopath.

It follows the novel somewhat. I have read every Brad Thor, Mark Greaney, Vince Flynn, Marc Cameron, David Baldacci, Nelson DeMille, Tom Clancy novels they have written, and find myself playing casting director on many. Ryan Gosling is
pretty spot on with the character, maybe a little less muscular. Counter terrorism, WW3 and TEOTWAWKI books are what I read.

Dead to Me - Season 3 - Series Finale

excellent close to a good series.........

Chistina Applegate deserves praise for being able to complete the final season following her MS diagnosis, From what I've read she had to have off camera assistance to be able to stand. Crew holding her legs in place. Co-stars holding her up without looking like she's being held.

She's a long way from Kelly Bundy.

Ending was ambiguous which was intentional. Often very emotional. Great story. Great acting.
Give the 3 seasons a watch. I think you'll be glad you did.

Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities

Very Good, Each episode is a different story produced by a different Producer. I'm about 5 episodes in. Each one so far has been good. Well produced, well flimed, well written. Give it a whirl.

This may have been posted since it was released in late 2021, but the Netflix film Don't Look Up with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchet, Jonah Hill, and just about everyone in Hollywood definitely worth a look.

It's a dark humor parody of the current political system, technology, television, and social media that had both The Admiral and me captivated last night. It's the story of how the world reacts to a planet killer comet hurtling to the earth...
