And more importantly, although its a staggering amount of $$$ and to anyone unfamiliar with the program it would appear its all about the $$ to Hurley, he left ALOT on the table by turning down Kentucky and the Lakers and honoring his commitment to his recruits and promises to UCONN nation.

I for one am looking forward to seeing how this upcoming season plays out

St Johns looking like they will be in the mix this year for sure which is awesome for the big east
UConn off to great start so far but haven’t played a teal team yet. We’ll have a better idea after this week when they play stiffer competition in the Maui tournament

The women on the other handed are totally stocked with an insane amount of talent and if they can all stay healthy and on the court it will come down to them and SC

Huge for both teams
UCONN has to re-establish themselves at the defending champs and not let their season slip away
Having McNeely back should be a huge boost
St Johns needs to prove they are for real and a force to be reckoned with

UConn has had second half issues this season. I'm sure by tourney time they will be ready. They just don't have the same talent they had last 2seasons.

SJU has to be the worst shooting team in the country. They are tenacious on D and out rebound everyone. Their shooting is a big problem.

This UConn team does not have the killer instinct that the last 2 years teams had
Last year they go on that first half early run and never look back and win by 20.
St John’s figured it out quick and played shut down defense and took away the chances for 3 pointers.
