When doing doing coats its all the same. White on white, green on green, blue on blue... its all the same
Start at one end and keep going in a pattern til you get to the other end.
Thats the only way to know you got it all.
Cross rolling is another trick.
1st go east west, then cross back north south over the same area....

well I'm not - nor have I ever been - a painting contractor - so roll dem eyes all you want

I'm just a regular "Joe- Average-Home-Owner".
Without intending to - I probably performed most of your "magic tricks" above & still notice missed spots when it all dries.

Ceilings are probably about the only surface I repaint the same color & having a ceiling paint that goes on pink & dries white would be a great help.

I bet it looks fine and since u did it u know where those spots are cuz ur staring at it but no one else will notice!!
 
today is the day the mojoe skiff is being pulled from the water ,, george and i will be going to the dock this morning,, first we will try to start the outboard as you saw what happened in our last fishing report:eek:,,,,,,,,, ><))):>
