I'm wondering why a moderator and admin would allow a thread to go so far OT. Maybe you should start a new thread dedicated to making fun of where people live because that certainly is not why I started this thread. The original title was "The Onancock Chronicles - All things Eastern Shore."
It was certainly not "Make fun of Wader and his small town antics" thread.

I never hijacked the title .... I started a new thread with a different title that was changed back to copy a thread from the other site. Really ?

Not to put too fine a point on it but from Moriches to Montauk is a south shore, not an east shore.

I tried that at the beginning of this thread.Caused too much grief thread stays as it is im sure it will get BOT as they all do gotta take the good with the bad if thats ok?

you're not even on the Eastern end of the Island - that begins in Riverhead - your on the south shore of the Island

The East End of Long Island is constituted by the five townships at the eastern end of New York's Suffolk County, namely Riverhead, Southampton (which includes Westhampton), Southold, Shelter Island, and East Hampton.[1] Long Island's North Fork and South Fork are part of the East End.[2] "The East End" is sometimes shortened as "The End", but this latter term is also applied only to Montauk, the most easterly hamlet of the contiguous land mass.[3]

Moriches is not in any of them to my knowledge...................

Now I'd like to take the time to thank an Administrator & a Moderator for taking a thread far off topic & basically destroying it. Might as well delete the whole thing..........
