the movie you just rented/went to see/or just saw "Recommend or Not Recommend It" thread

Picked up Uncut Gems for 60¢ at Redbox.
One of those movies where I wasn't surprised by the ending at all.

Richard Jewell was good....makes you wonder about the FBI and what exactly is their motive in investigating something....maybe just NAIL somebody no matter what?

Hey MTB, I am thinking of a very certain, specific "somebody", are you LOL ? Remember, no politics !

brief synopsis please

Rogue group of 6 players tries to make the world right from evil people, only actor you'd recognize is Ryan Reynolds - maybe Melanie Laurent. The director is Michael Bay - he's well known.

now I remember seeing it on there - I ll give it a try after I finish Hinterland...

The Grudge

meh.............

Somewhat predictable for the most part but did get me once or twice......

Worth the $1.58 if you can't find anything else.

Watched 1917 last night
I thought is was well done and interesting.
I would recommend it

I rented it a few weeks ago. I thought it was very well done and interesting too. I just thought it was too 'artistic'.

Worth watching for sure, but I guess I was expecting something different.

Agree with that
I think having been cooped up for so long maybe I liked it more than I normally would have???‍♂️

The Invisible Man

New take on an old story. Very well done. Had me off my seat more then once............
Terrific bit of acting by Elizabeth Moss.

Complete twist at the end.
Recommend.

The Hunt
Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don't know where they are, or how they got there. They don't know they've been chosen - for a very specific purpose - The Hunt.

Initial reaction at beginning?
"This is stupid & gratuitous. I don't think I'm gonna finish this.
Liberals hunting Conservatives.
I can see why they didn't want to release this when they were going to."

Got interesting along the way.
Worth the time & the $1.80 from Redbox.

Nice eye candy in the main female character.
