1996 Privateer Renegade I/O to Outboard Conversion

Looks like a beautiful paint job. I can't wait to see the rub railing installed. Like a frame on a picture.

Where are you running fuel and steering lines?

New deck drain tubes, flaring tool in place, taped to make cleaning up the 5200 easier. Hydraulic jack plate bolted in place ready for new Zuke. Steering installed.

Stopped in on the install ...... 40 something years of doing everything on my boats myself including rigging, made it hard to drop the boat off this morning at Sandpiper Marine. My friend Bob tried to as best he could to convince me it would be ok. We stopped in this afternoon ..... I was very impressed with the work and felt way better. It's looking good! They are going to take it for a ride tomorrow and make sure everything is good.

No, not yet anyway ....... the mechanic that did the install said it was a pleasure doing the install and said it was a very nice job compared to some he has worked on.

They did a test run today to make sure it was propped right ...... at 5700 rpm they read 50 mph on gps. Puppy scoots nicely Mud !! (y)

Damn, what you gonna call your boat "Road Runner" meep meep
When it all comes together, wont be long now, excellent work, best of luck with the new motor and boat.
