I was really surprised that some young people I know were so interested in classic 4 wheel drive trucks.
I was even more surprised to hear the prices they were paying for some of these trucks and even asked if I still had my old 4-runner and wanted to buy it.

Big bucks.

My friend worked at a Baltimore dealership back then, he had the keys and they had one on the showroom floor which they couldn't sell. I think on the window sticker it was $28k, and a separate sheet for another $20k market adjustment upwards...


Just researched - price was $29k
