Coronavirus

Very strange virus. My wife was coughing and lost her senses of smell and taste so she finally agreed to go to the doctor. Her regular doctor refused to see her because she was coughing. She's now using my doctor. Anyway, she went to the emergency room. 4 hours later and a $100 copay, she tested negative for everything except a flu virus. All COVID tests were negative. She's now feeling much better but still can't smell or taste anything.

Agreed... My ex wife and her mom tested positive 3 weeks ago...both vaxxed....
My daughter was with them a week ago. Not vaxxed. Thursday last she has a 101 fever and cough. ex wife takes her to the doctor, negative for covid but has a sinus infection. Prescribed amoxicillin. Been with me since Monday, fever is gone, cough is persistent, but getting less, she's tired but in good spirits and has an apetetite.....strange almost identical to covid less the headache.

wondered if they dialed down the cycle thresholds on the PCR tests??
 
We just signed up for the second booster. Due to an impending cruise in the Med., we more or less had to. We will be the asshats wearing masks at ShopRite and avoiding EVERYONE else when the departure date nears! Although a Viking Cruise is unlike any of the seagoing disease carriers (no casino, no children, no umbrella drinks, lol) we are getting more anxious and paranoid as it gets close. Hope your son Chevy and anyone else who recently caught it recover quickly and fully.

My first two time I came up negative for testing, both blood and swab. My doc said I definitely had it though and said something about how the tests were "less than hoped for". I finally came up dirty on the third time, on the BA.5 variant. The first two times for me the loss of taste and smell was what pushed my doc to say I definitely had it, in addition to the other symptons. What was remarkable for my job was the non-vaxxers were forced to test with the spit test weekly and suddenly at various times they all came up dirty despite being asymptomatic. It came very close to shutting down the railroad and forced them to lower the quarantine to 5 days.
 
I’ve had a few ppl today tell me they had the same type thing
And we’re negative 2 three times
Then positive
Honestly I no longer care
Test said negative 2 times
It’s a cold . End of story

yup..i had to test yesterday for a cruise tomorrow and was scared chit...but we came back NEG. Otherwise its all paid for and getting a refund MADON!!!
