on the phone with The Crossings at Bon Air where my Mom lives. She called me a few minutes ago after finding a notice on her front door that one Resident & one Employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

I wanna make sure they are following the proper protocols - Contact Tracing/Quarantine. I'm sure they are to have escaped any intrusion into the facility until now. Not too alarmed but......................

She is 88.

Au contraire mon frère. When someone in power responds to the need for a nation-wide mask mandate with something along the lines of "Masks are good, but I believe in personal freedoms", he's kind of made it political.

Showing him saying this on TV, airing it on radio and/or printing it in a paper is not the media making it that way. Someone has already put his foot in his mouth...

Yes, mismanagement. Wearing a cloth mask lessens a sick person from spewing large liquid particles, so that sick person is putting less virus into the air. If a healthy, cloth-masked person walks into a room with many sick people who aren't wearing a mask he will probably get sick.

Think about it. Surgeons have been wearing cloth and paper masks for years. It's not to protect them from you, it's to protect YOU from THEM.

Wearing a mash shows you care about others so if you don't give a crap about yourself, wear a cloth mask.

If you're care about others, and yourself, wear a N95 mask. I've been doing it long before there were any mask mandates...
