SWMBO and I started “Women at War.”

started that last night..........................

That scene in the first episode - when husband/officer gets on his cycle to leave for work & that car somes along...................

JUST WOW!!

wasn't expecting that at all - startled the hell out of me (I think I jumped out of my seat) right out of left field as they say - ended up having to go back & watch it over.........

It turns into a good little mini series. I definitely think that generally the Brit shows are more, dare I say, plodding and methodical, while the French shows are more soap "opery" but faster moving. Everyone I turned to watching The Night Agent OTOH...

this thread helps members sort through all of the stuff that's on Netflix to find the good shows - there a numerous shows I probably wouldn't have watched if I hadn't seen it posted here by other members - helps to sort the good from the bad

Its apples and oranges. I dvr anything i can on broadcast to avoid ads and the best of netflix from here and abroad often makes broadcast lame and childlike

Great idea!! A bunch of other threads would also benefit from "merging". Next we'll start seeing dedicated ABC, CBS, ESPN, Hulu, etc. threads. Sad that a vast majority of threads here have nothing to do with fishing, but people love to pimp their "Well Known Angler" moniker.

Hmmm, on the other hand, since all fisherman are liars, maybe that makes sense in a perverted way...

Agree to disagree. I didn’t vote for the governor or potus but care more about ehd in deer and if the weaks will be back. Can we put all tv, smoking etc in a single thread and call it harmless vices lol ?

There was a time (& I do believe there still is) when no fishing talk was allowed in the Lounge. As a matter of - threads use to be deleted for that. Has something changed?

There are a dozen or so boards on here that fishing is discussed in.

Exactly. I unwatch multiple threads quite often as I simply don’t want so many emails. Please: merge everything! I don’t need weather or windy. I don’t wish to read anything about menu or food. I never smoked and a sixpack bought for a Memorial day barbecue ends up down the drain the following April.
