I know... the only one I know about is on Sunrise in lINDENHURST
Was wandering around lost up island this past weekend and came across a new arby's on 106/107 I think in Jericho. Was really nice and clean looked like a boulder creek steakhouse type of design. The menu was way more diverse than I remember(y)

Just yesterday I checked on my horseradish in the garden. I have 10 plants coming up. It's very easy to grow and it will come back almost every time. To grow more plants just take a little piece of the root, one of the offshoots and just leave it in the ground. It will take next season. MUCH tastier than the jar kind.

Bet it’s good, I’m a city boy without a garden, best I can do is fresh whole root @ $2:00 lb... cellie...

It is. On that pic. I see 6 off shoots that you would replant and it theoretically would give you 6 plants. The 3 larger ones would definitely take not sure of the smaller ones but who knows.

I planted it 5 years ago and basically other than pulling weeds around the plants and adding compost every year that's all I have done. That and clip off some to replant when I harvest.

This is what I've been buying. Grown & processed by a local farmer here in Parksley, Virginia (2 towns over) Van Dessel's Farm .

Good Stuff. Pick it up at the Market when in need . Nice & Fresh. The jar below has a preparation date on the bottom of the jar of June 4th. Haven't bought supermarket horseradish in a couple of years now.
