with the Jewish Holidays nearing soon, Fresh Horseradish should be easy to find, with a pickle onda side... cellfish...

seems like SEMINOLE HR is made from SPRINGFIELD OHIO...

Have a local farm that makes horseradish that is "NY" in quality and I can even get Streit's matzo in the local supermarket??!!!!! That allows me to have my favorite Passover/St. Patrick's Day snack, egg matzo w/Kerry Gold Irish Butter!!

love the stuff - it has replaced mustard in my household - St. Pat's Day Corned Beef is outstanding with horseradish instead of mustard...

Same thing on:
frankfootas
bratwurst
even have it in an omelette (sparingly)
etc.

Prefer the farm made stuff but that is sometimes not available (rarely) - if scarce - I'll go with store bought.

DW mixes it into veggies.

We like the idea of on Corned Beef and will also try it on a hot dog.

Grow my own. Have for the last few years. Easy to grow and just snap off a couple of the off shoots of the root put em back in the ground and another plant grows next spring. Has more flavor than store bought. Took a couple tries to get the vinegar ratio and other spices just right but taste is much better than store bought.
