Exercise it,walking is a great start..may have to - spent about an hour & half today working on one garden & my back called foul - bending over these days seems to not be an option - think there's surgery in my near future
Exercise it,walking is a great start..
My inversion table helps a lot when I use itMack - have a real bad back
1 slipped disc pinching a nerve
2 bulging discs
spaces between all discs when I bend over
Not sure walking is gonna take care of that.
Probably not,I had surgery many years ago and the surgeon told me if people would exercise there back he would be out of business..Mack - have a real bad back

OY!! There's no doubt Mike that you do excellent work and you should be justifiably proud!! It’s my therapy, I enjoy it. I do it for me not to impress the neighbors or anyone else.If I had a house in the sticks it would still look nice but I would do a more natural landscapingOY!! I just revel in living far away from suburbia, where many are locked in a loop, trying to make their Castle a poster child for "Better Homes and Gardens".
Try it, you'll like it!! Have yet to hear a complaint from the seagulls about any bare spots on the lawn...
Besides doing NOTHING, my natural landscaping involves taking small, native white birch, white pine and balsam firs from the "leave it wild" parts, and moving them around the property to have 3 distinct areas, a white pine grove with enough needles on the ground to prevent anything else growing there, a birch grove and a future Christmas Tree farm. Add to that getting all the wild blueberry plants into one area and that's work enough...It’s my therapy, I enjoy it.
