Did my initial lawn "trim" yesterday. Can't call it a real mowing since it was mostly to get the taller stands down to where 50% of the lawn was...

finally finished the Banana Tree garden this afternoon after like 4 days - yeah - was neglected for 2 years - lot to do to rehab it

Ran the sprinkler on it for an hour after I finished & it began to look like a scene out of Cinderella. I had squirrels, 4 types of birds & rabbits running through the sprinkler.

Pictures tomorrow (maybe). Back's screaming. Already took a Naproxen. After dinner I'll be going to 1/2 a Tramadol.

Cleared out last season's Lantana as the new growth was coming in strong. First couple of pictures were before, then during & then - finally fini. Now I have to figure out what I do with last season's debris. Town decided to limit curbside pickups to a 4 X 4 pile. This is much greater then that.

Three options:

1. Burn it
2. Load it into my truck & take it to the County dump
3. Spread it out between my house & a couple of neighbors houses

I'm kinda leaning toward # 1 . I could burn it in my firepit Saturday night night & invite a friend or two over for a bonfire.

Maybe burn a book or two.

This is one of the small gardens off of my back porch.

Weeded, transplanted & planted, fertilized, mulched.

NOTE TO SELF: next time playing around with Cactus, wear gloves. I didn't even see any stickers & still can't in mu=y hands but boy do I feel them. Annoying as hell.
