Lep's Flea Market

Look at the Tsunami Evict 2000, if you are considering changing brands. Stainless gears and main shaft. Built for exactly what you are doing. Heavier than the fly-weight Ballistic, but not really noticeable in use.

Personally I would never use a Ballistic for heavy cranking, and I can say with certainty that the Evict will not need its gears replaced after a season of use, that's for sure. What a little tank that reel is.

A certain 6' Brown Shark found out what the smallest Evict can do, up close and personal, this past Summer offshore of Jones Inlet. Try that with a flea-weight Daiwa. On second though, you probably shouldn't.
I purchased this combo trevalaS/Ballistic specifically because it was extremely light and I needed that due to recent surgeries that caused limited arm strength. Ballistic 6.7 Oz Evict 10.8 but if the Ballistic wont hold up maybe I should go with something with less finesse and more teeth so to speak. Or stainless teeth.
thanks as always

I have a Shimano Trinidad 12a that I am looking to let go of. Used but in great working order. Happy to post pics later on if there is interest. $325 shipped.

Guys - the Hydra Big Joe is offering is an absolute steal at $200. Its worth that much in parts a alone. Its one of those fluke rods that is at home in the Bays as well as the deeper drops. I found this blank years ago, while perusing FW bass sites - then had Capt. Neil build me the first one on LI - and I've used it ever since. This blank will easily handle jigs to 5oz, has a very crisp moderate-fast taper (More mod than fast), and has put many big fluke on my deck. It matched perfectly with any compact low-profile bait casting reel. If Neil built it you know its right - in construction and balance. Someone here should snap this rod up - especially if you like jigging "outside."

I’m selling my Black Hole Charter Special 6’8” Spiral Wrap. I purchased it last year and have only used it a few times since. Just to many rods and want to make some room.
$150.00 firm pick up Massapequa.

Tempted by that Hydra!!! I emailed them about this blank a few months ago and they said they were putting all production resources towards factory rods during the pandemic.

Logistics of a meet up are pretty dicey right now with COVID getting worse again.

Here ya go....

The pictures do the rod no justice. It's very difficult to see the colors in the wraps which are light gray, dark gray, white, black and metallic copper. Very sharp looking, especially in the sun.

Happy to answer any questions you may have.
