very few robo calls coming in, many weeks now… over 400 blocked calls in my iphone… cellfish…

My IPhone with Verizon service identifies the vast majority of those calls, does not ring, and I only find out the bastards called at all when I look at my phone for a weather report or a noise that an email came in.

I do usually block but they simply spoof another number and location and call back the next day or week. Since my hearing aids are blue tooth this completely eliminates any ring. Some of them leave a voice mail and i just delete them when I notice them on my phone. I think this just started w verizon when i upgraded my phone 18 months ago

Robo calls had slowed down to sometimes one a day, we have been in Florida since New Year’s Day & now back to at least 4 a day. First got my phone close to 30yrs ago when we lived in Flushing , so the exchange is 917. Flushing is primarily an Chinese area now, & a good many on my robo calls are in Manderian.

i haven’t blocked any on landline, but Spectrum offers that service and a call log… i keep the volume off, leave messages mostly… generally many less fraud calls on landline… cellie…

My verizon allows me to block just 5 for free. More? Pay for more. But spammers will just spoof another number

Interesting, but our land line with it's 207 area code, the area code for the entire state, gets like zero Robo calls, and it's not an unlisted number, not even calls to extend our Auto Warranty. I guess Maine isn't lucrative enough.

My cell phone, which still has the IL area code gets maybe 3 a week, so no worries there. I do love the Spam Text Messages like "Wasn't that party at Charlie's last night great?", LOL...

The spam texts I get are nearly all political, the funny part being they are from the party I have voted for just twice since 1972, the last being for County Exec Laura Curran who was unseated by that nit wit Bruce Blakeman. I keep my replies sarcastic but polite, and for the life of me can not figure out why I keep getting two for several years now, about filing for food stamps or attending a pro abortion rally (which, along with capital punishment, I believe in, lol !) It is odd though that some that come up as "Potential Spam:" either on my cell or the home phone (which is actually a "repeater-style" cell) can sometimes leave a voice mail and sometimes never ring at all.

ya know, “repot junk & delete” may not do anything at the other end to investigate the spam, it only blocks the spam number from coming back…

for a few days in a row, none at all. then three or four within 6 hrs. almost none get to my cell phone with a ring- those I only see when answering a text or call from someone on my contact list. the house phone is in reality a retrans cell phone, which is why its relatively inexpensive and almost all come up with "potential spam" or leave no message when they get our answering message. Not on our contact list of 50 ? Leave a message or eff off.
