Is the ‘engine turns off in 5 seconds if no movement’ feature becoming mainstream in new cars? Must be a lot of wear on the starter or not. About 5 years ago I baby sat a Prius for a month it had that feature, thought it was just on the Hybrids.

My F150 has that future. You can turn it off with a click of a button.

Terrible feature.

Great thought, but if it was left there, the tree would grow around it.

I guess living in a city means you've never seen a tree that grew up near a wire fence and years later you'd see pieces of that wire sticking out of the tree.

I'll have to take a look later at a tree on my property that had a blue piece of plastic tape around it to mark that a soil test was done there for a leach field. There's nothing but a piece of blue tape sticking out from the tree now...
It can and usually does kill the tree.

The reason I'm buying my 2019 Subaru and not leasing a new one.

taking the ornaments and lights off the Christmas tree. Earliest I have ever done it. But the tree is so dry it’s a fire hazard now ?
Interesting, all a matter of when it was cut. In IL & on LI, when I first put the tree up after Thanksgiving with a fresh trunk cut, I'd be filling water in the base 2 times a day for a few days, then it would be daily until I took it down. Those trees are cut down in October

Since moving up here, I NEVER have to fill up the tank. The first day trees suck up 1/4 of the water and then after that I just ending topping things off every couple of days. The trees that stay in Maine are cut 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I won't tell how little we pay for them, that would be too cruel...
