I have to get wire, so I cleaned the kitchen top to bottom instead. Maybe tomorrow I will get the wire and see if I can find a new seat for the bike

I'm afraid the additional cushioning would take away storage space. Hey, you could engineer putting a shock absorber mounted through the storage to the seat. Might be your million dollar invention???

Having more than a "wee dram" of my favorite single malt to wash down the 3 ibuprofens I've taken to ease the aches from bringing in all the outside Christmas decorations and spiriting them down into the basement, and then the 1 mi schlep through the mud to grab those delectable oysters.

Need to ease the pain so I can start opening them...

Just the opposite here. Had a double single malt, a double Bucca and Busta, and a large glass of Port and I'm still wired. Normally, I'd have fallen asleep in front of the TV 2 hours ago.

I may turn in now because there's nothing really interesting on TV, one can only watch that ball drop so many times in life, especially since in my misspent youth, I often went to Times Square...
