the type of seeds and plants they allow us to have would never withstand the types of pesticides real farmers use.
our plants would be flattened.

I read that this horned headed worms need to be completely eliminated on site Immediately.
You just hand pick them there are usually only a few. But one can eat a whole tomato plant in a day or two

today 6-8-2023,,,,,,,,,,,,,,checking on our corn ,,,, and as you all know all vegs are in planters//pots,,,,,,,,,,,, and we are getting alot of eats,, see you can grow any veg in pots,,, the bigger the planter the better,,,,,start with great potting soil,,,,, and feed them good,,, every week or too,,,, never let the pots go dry,, they can dry up fast,, sun/wind/heat,,,, we water as of now 2 times a day,, 8-) ,,,,,if you dont then you get very little,,,,, maureen just came in with another bowl,,,,she just made it indoors ,,its raining cats and dogs now,,,,,,><)))):>

My yellow squash had started to put out tiny fruit but then they turned to mush, not sure why this is happening, they did flower early I thought but plant itself is looking better.

The green zucchini are getting big as plants and no flowers yet which looks more normal.
I think the greens are going to be better than the yellow this year.

jack the yellow squash when that happens ,, its bad pollination,,,, when you have a male flower with a female flower on the plant,,, take off the male flower peddles and swipe in the female flower,,the inside male flower has a pecker ? , push push in the bush,,,,,,,,,,this will help alot,, we get alot by doing this,,,,,,we dont have many bees here??,,,,,,,all the best,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ><)))):>

Well, after discussing this further with Mo & Joe… I went out back before the rain noticing several flowers were open and others were not. I remembered Maureen and Joe mentioning this a few years ago and I used it on the Gahgoots flowers and watched them over produce like crazy.

They both thought it was best to get out there now before the rain , so I did……Mary took. Few pics.
We pollenated the zucchini by hand, it’s a hand job.

I used the toothbrush method Mo&Joe recommended And sure it will work.

Thanks MoJoe
