I agree with Don, I actually had this talk about memory with my doctor and how bad it was getting. I said I’m not even 60 yet?
He told me not to worry about it...that the first thing that goes is your memory...
I can’t remember what the second thing was?
This January I turned 69, I also have my yearly physical at the same time ea. year, I was concern about memory loss,
My mother passed away 1 year ago from complications of dementia.
At the beginning of the physical he told me a story of a man,Tom Smith that lived in Bristol Ct. 25 High street, was a salesman and had 3 kids.
At the end of the physical he asked questions, I got all but one correct, the street, I said main street instead of high street, he said I passed with no problem.
I personally think as we get older we fall into a routine where somethings are just not that important anymore.
I use to have a bartenders memory, I was on first name basis with everyone I use to work with at NASDAQ 20 yrs ago , or almost every actor of my generation and more, now I see these people and i'm like, I know you right, or who is that actor, he's new. lol
Don't be concerned that you can't remember where you put your car keys or cell phone, it's when you can't remember
what their used for, that's when your in trouble.
