Very nice! On a weighted rig or what? My blood is pumping thinking about this lol.Worm.
I went out last weekend for 2 hours with a friend and we had 1 hit and 1 bass. Decent schoolie of about 25"-26".
I think this weekend should be better.

UNCFISH - im in agreement with your assessment!
In 18 bass trips in the Western in 2018 (4/29 - 6/30), we landed 61 bass, largest was 43", most landed was 10 in a night/morning combo, and lost an appx 40lb fish boatside one night.
Tagged 39 bass with American Littoral Society tags, maybe kept a dozen all under 20lbs, usually only if guthooked. All big fish went back to swim.
Anyone have a water temp report so far? All the NOAA water temp buoys are down again...
These #s are good for the way fishing is now but no offense, there were trips in 2008, 2009 and 2010 where we did 30+ keeper bass on 1 chunking trip fishing structure. The same structures that had the #s I'm listing are now de-void of life. Almost completely.
The days of charters doing 60+ keeper trips on structure are now gone. Fishing was ridiculous in the 2000s to right about 2010-2011.
2 years ago, there was a very good bite where a tide produced 15-25 keepers a trip but it was mostly on the troll.
How far west?6 schoolies this morning western sound back bays 20 to 25 inches on a small paddle tail shad.
