Thinking of laminating that vaccine card? Pinellas, take a picture instead.

Pinellas health officials have received a handful of complaints that laminating the cards rendered some information illegible.

I took a photo of it but its so easily counterfeited not going to even waste clear tape on it. I believe since “they” took enough identifying info at the clinic its just a matter of time before a real database emerges, privacy concerns be damned, overcome by public safety concerns over this “deadly” disease.

Just out of curiosity I did the NYS Excelsior Wallet thing today, it expires in 30 days. What’s the point?
Think its just supposed to make us appreciate our state gubmint. Why , I don’t know but that is what I think. ( yes, its useless). Plus I don’t even know that it’s actually verifying anything

I get 5 allergy shots every week, and all the other vaccines that have come out like zostamax, shinglex, pneumonia and the occasional tetanus booster along with what Uncle gave me years back so I guess I am not one to criticize or even comment, but if you are over 65 is it worth the risk, that is, unless its for religious or not believing in science reasons...?
Im not over 65 and Its just a choice I made

What about getting blood work? I caught covid after being very careful, I thought anyways. I was lucky and didn’t have a hard time with it but that shit sucked. Just got my smell back.
Blood work every 3 months because I have too

Have been since day one of this crap I have a good immune system colds/Flus and all the other crap I dont get Im a firm believer in Alcohol kills all that crap
?. I don’t drink so fortunately am not squeamish about getting shots !

For now, at least, it's a free country. You do you.
Says whom? If you want to drive, you need to register your car, display an ID No. then pass a test, obey a bunch of rules like stopping at a stop light even if no one is coming, and there's a whole police force who's only job is to make sure you obey. If you want to send your kids to school, they need a bunch of vaccinations. They make you wear a shirt and shoes to a restaurant and food handlers have to wash their hands after they use the bathroom even if wear rubber gloves.
We live in a very crowded civilization where we depend on each other to follow certain social behavioral norms, as minor as NOT TYPING IN ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME, so that we can get along. The more crowed it gets, the more important compliance becomes. Japan is a perfect example.

I dont like needles no plan on getting the shot
most of the workers are so skilled, you feel this shot a lot less than most others, such as the shingles Rx. After my first shot, I still wonder if they really gave it to me. Just look away.

Those refusing to get vaccinated will be facing the consequences, which apparently will include exclusion from taking cruises, attending some colleges, and God only knows what else. When faced with increased restrictions on our Second Amendment rights, we often sarcastically state, "its for the children." Is this that different ? As Matts stated above, living in a crowded civilized country sometimes requires a bit of sacrifice. And yes Matts, after my first shot I teased the RN Shannon, while she administered the second shot that she was in competition with RN Golda (first injection) for a pain-free shot. Shannon replied, "oh, the pressure" ,lol, and I again had to ask her if she faked it or if she really gave me an injection. No doubt a few hours later, but didn't feel either actual injection.

Guess it will be up to that skipper unless it becomes some federal decree, much like the USCG requiring the stupid kill switch.

The wife and I received the 1st Moderna shot on Friday. She felt terrible Friday night through Saturday afternoon. Fever, chills, and severe body aches. I just felt a bit of fatigue and overall tiredness on Friday night, but better on Saturday.

I get a kick out of people who say " its a free country" ......."I choose not to get vaccinated"......

I guess as a frontline healthcare worker I can choose to not treat unvaccinated patients......just isolate them so as to not harm anyone else and see what happens.......

You made a choice.......I'll make mine.....Free country right?
