Its a real shoot-em-up. Held my interest throughout but its violent and bloody, definitely had my wife on another TV LOL.

finished 1st Season of Messiah last night (excellent) - looking forward to season 2.....

Now on 4th Season of Last Kingdom

First three seasons were very enjoyable - even the Brit thought so..........

As Alfred the Great defends his kingdom from Norse invaders (Vikings) as well as invading Scotsmen from the north, Uhtred -- born a Saxon but raised by Vikings -- seeks to claim his ancestral birthright & by doing so - unite all of the various & competing Kingdoms into a single Kingdom establishing z single Kingdom - England.

Bloody & violent as one would expect...........

Reminds me a bit of Game of Thrones.

Please don't give anything away as I am only halfway through season 2. Uhtred already up to his fourth "woman." I don't know if SWMBO would have liked it, and found out that on the other TV she has been binging "Medal of Honor" !!
