Hey Chevy - can you explain this?

This was a regular pink coneflower last year just like all the others.. Why does this happen? Developed a "green" flower when it came back.

So many of today’s plants are developed in labs, and sometimes one of the original spicies comes growing back.

I can not take the hot weather, but as you can see from the pictures I just took my Cactus loves the heat ?

no rain here for a month & no prospects of rain for at least the next 10 days - things looking a bit grim - trees dropping leaves, grass going brown, etc.

I even washed both cars which usually triggers rain or snow within 48 hours - Nada!

It’s called a prickly pear cactus. Only blooms once a year. It’s edible too?
