I was there in 1968, a mere 13 years after it opened. Actually, Bobby Kennedy had been shot to death in our hotel the week before we were there.

my father use to have a Nazi sword taken fron a German Colonel who surrendered. No idea what happened to it - last time I saw it I was still in High School

this is bringing back a lot of memories I haven't thought about in a LONG time....................

My father also had an assumed Revolutionary War muskeet he found when swimming in Lake Champlain as a kid. It had a compartment in the stock which contained a handwritten letter/message. Unreadable of course.

Another "don't know what happened to it" thingy.....................

Again probably a mid-teen last time I saw it.

Pisses me off to this day since it was promised to me.
