good stuff on netflix

Who is Erin Carter

Very good. Fast paced. Good story - little bit of a hoakey ending but the rest of it overcame that. Bit of a Kill Bill vibe.
It was supposed to be a limited series but I think they left it open for a second season.

Still not sure who Erin Carter is.

Now bingeing "The Chestnut Man." Danish and dubbed but after three episodes definitely holding our interest, even duing the bride's recovering from a molar extraction...

Beef (Limited Series)
Intriguing, Unexpected....
Thought it was very good. Load of twists & not what you thought or expected it to be. Anbd yes. That's Glenn from TWD.

A Man Called Otto

Watched last night........

Excellent & another fine job of acting by Tom Hanks. Kept seeing glimpes of Gran Torino - they should thank Clint Eastwood for some of the ideas. :)

Throughly entertaining..........

In From the Cold - Season 1

(y)(y)

Fast paced spy thriller with a nice looking lady in the lead roll. Second season coming...

The Pacific
I've been watching this inbetween Netflix shows. Very good. I've never seen this in its entirety. Keep catching it here & there. Excellent companion piece to Band of Brothers.

And speaking of companion pices - I just came across this................

I had Apple+ for a year free when I upgraded my phone. We watched "Coda" and "Greyhound" on it and the rest was mostly woke crapola. I will wait for the reviews of this new Tom Hanks/Spielburg miniseries before buying still another streaming service. Two movies in a year didn't cut the mustard.

after it runs its course with any luck Netflix will pick it up - that's what's what I'm banking on...

good point although Coda and Greyhound haven't as far as I know. Band of Brothers and The Pacific were HBO where I watched them originally and several times each since.

the latter two are both on Netflix now - so maybe.........................
;)

the green mile sucked, especially the electric chair scene, horrible…

another prison theme… cellie…
.
really?

thought that whole film was outstanding - really mirrored the books - along with the Shining I always find myself watching when I come across them - they both also featured some fine acting from Hanks & Nicholson - actually the whole cast was great in GM

going on "the List"...............

watched last night - worth the time
